Rooibos is almost a national drink in South Africa. The broom-like shrub cultivated on the western coast of South Africa has captured the audience of the entire world. It is through the fermentation of tiny pieces of branches and needle like leaves that the tea develops its typical red colour, giving the tea its name. |
